Zainab Barrie was born on the 14th of February 1994 in Kono District. After completing her primary school education, Zainab Barrie attended the Ansaru Islamic Secondary School for Girls and obtained her West Africa senior School Certificate. Zainab went further and attained certificates in some professional courses.
Zainab Barrie is a Sierra Leonean actor, model and entrepreneur with a career spanning from school theatre to film. In 2010, she joined the Leon Unique Film Production and was introduced to film acting by director Mutar Sonie of Leon Unique that same year. She later on left for some reason and joined the Climax Film Production in Kono. She was believed to be a shy girl when she first started acting.
The movie “Tears of an orphan ” was her breakthrough movie and since then, she has played lead and supporting roles in nearly 15 movies mostly movie projects within Kono district and Sierra Leon as a whole. Presently she is one of the faces of the professional Actors Club Sierra Leone.
