Nakama Margaret Kamara, also known as Nakama Slingo, is a renowned entertainment TV presenter and master of ceremonies in Sierra Leone. Born to her parents, Mr. Slingo Osman Kamara and Jeminatu Slingo Kamara, Nakama has two brothers and a sister. She is also a proud mother of a daughter.

Nakama began her education at the District Education Committee (DEC) in Lungi before moving to Port Loko to continue her primary education at the Practising School. She later returned to Lungi and attended St. Augustine Agriculture Secondary School before moving back to Port Loko to complete her SSS at Catholic Secondary School. Nakama excelled in her studies and was appointed the head girl of her school. She went on to obtain her WASCE certification and a diploma in Microsoft Office after completing a computer course.

Her passion for learning led her to pursue various courses at the University of Mines and Technology (UAT) in Ghana, including Maintenance Management, Safety Management, and Microsoft Office. After her studies, Nakama returned to Sierra Leone and began working with BCM Mining Company with Shandon, where she gained valuable experience in the mining industry.

However, Nakama’s true calling was in the entertainment industry, where she has made a name for herself as a practising journalist, TV presenter, and actress. She is currently one of the most recognizable faces on Sierra Leone’s television screens as a presenter for Star Television Channel 21. Nakama’s unique approach to presenting has endeared her to a growing network of followers in the entertainment industry.

Additionally, Nakama is a signed actress for one of the biggest movie empires in Sierra Leone, the Allanbob Entertainment Empire, and works with various movie production houses in Sierra Leone. Her exceptional acting skills have made her a fan favourite, and she has received numerous accolades for her performances.
