The Faces of the North Entertainment Nomination Criteria

On the 19th of December 2020 at 11:00 PM, the Faces of the North Entertainment Award Committee, led by the chairperson, M. Robinson Sesay Snr alias Big Brother, officially called for nominations for the 3rd edition of FaNEA.
Being a man of honor, principles and a man that loves to leave a legacy wherever he finds himself, Mr. Sesay Sr emphasized that the committee shall look for quality and excellence in the works that shall be sent in by the professionals. He then went further to spell out the strategies put in place and the criteria that all who wish to be part of the award must observe.

According to him, the third edition nominations will be done in two dimensions; online via the FaNEA website, and App. He urged all the entertainment professionals that wish to enter for FaNEA awards for this edition to share with their fans and love once the FaNEA nomination links (FaNEA Website and App). The chairperson reiterated that the nominations via the website or app have a long way to go with the final process of selecting a nominee. Therefore, entertainers should put all seriousness. He continued that flyers will be available on every FaNEA website and social media platforms for a guide on the process. The FaNEA 2021 awards committee will only allow nomination for works already released in the public domain, premiered within the required period, January 2020 to December 31st, 2020, he said with a strong assertion. He re-assured all and sundry to keep believing the process and reaffirmed that FaNEA 2021 takes a better stand than all the previous editions. The chairperson cleared the air that FaNEA is not just for creative people that hailed from the north, but anybody that impacted the northern region through their art. Mr. Robinson Sesay Sr. closed his statement by saying that the nominations started on Saturday, the 19th of December 2020, and shall close on Thursday, the 14th of January 2021.

NOMINATION & ENTRIES CRITERIA FOR FaNEA AWARDS 2021

For your work to be eligible for FaNEA 2021 nomination & entries, your work should have been released/ Premiered/ Marketed between the submission validity time for nomination.

NOMINATION CRITERIA FOR MUSIC

Song (s) must fall between Sept. 2019 to Dec. 2020
Song(s) must have played at night clubs, Bars, Radio, TV, Restaurant, Carnival, etc.
Albums should be above five (5) songs and must have been out for sale or free on social media for view or listening.
Also, note that the committee pays close attention to social media handles.
