Early Life

Elizabeth Alberta Kailey was born in the Southern Province to Patricia L. M. Kailey and the late Albert S. Kailey. She attended the Holy Rosary Primary school Kenema where she sat to the National Primary School Examination. She proceeded to the Methodist Girl’s High School and sat to the Basic Education Certificate Examination. Alberta continued to Freetown at the St. Andrews Secondary school, and then United CC in Bo where she sat to her senior secondary school external examination. She lives with her beautiful daughter.

Career

Elizabeth Alberta Kailey aka Lish is an actor, a businesswoman, the manager of Mellish Production, a veteran volleyball player, a radio personality, a show promoter, a feminist, and a professional master of ceremonies. She started her acting career in 1999 with the Ndawah Theater in Bo, where she starred in some plays. She started filmmaking in 2010 in Freetown with the Gateway Film Production, where she served as a member of the Production in charge of Welfare. Alberta made her debut appearance in the movie ”State Crime” in a supporting role to the lead character. She has gotten eleven years of experience in the industry.

Alberta is a very open extrovert by nature and has the charm to be liked by people who are always happy being around her. To some end, she is fun to be with, and it natural about her. Alberta has a passion for acting. She sees it as a means to tell her own stories, help educate and inform people through movies, a way to give back to society.
