Elijah Musa Deen – Sierra Leone movie actor, screen writer and director

Early Life

Elijah Musa Deen (alias Film Prophet) was born on the 3rd of December 1987 at the Makeni Government Hospital to Muskuda Jalloh and Ibrahim Oldman Deen. He attended the Our Lady of Fatima Primary School in Makeni and proceeded to the Saint Francis Secondary School, and furthered his education to the Fourah Bah College, the University of Sierra Leone, and got his first degree. Elijah Musa Deen is married with a kid, and he lives in the Makeni Municipality with his family.

Career:

Elijah Musa Deen (alias the film prophet) director, writer, actor.  He started his film making career in 2005 as an actor and became a director and a writer in 2012.  Elijah was part of the team that did the first 100% Sierra Leonean movie that was shown at DSTV (Zymat) as a writer and director. He movie, my story won the Best Female Actor, Best Writer, and Best Upcoming Actor from the award ceremony organized by the Exclusive Entertainment, in Freetown. His movie – 21 Days won the Best Male Actor, Best Female Actor, Best Supporting Actor, and Best Movie of the year 2018 – organized by the Faces of the Northern Entertainment Award’ The movie he directed, Blood Battle won the Best producer and Best Director in 2019 – an award organized by the Faces of the Northern Entertainment Award. He has acted technical director for several movie projects Elijah has been the president of the Northern Movie Makers Alliance (NorMMAL) since 2014 to present.
