Early Life
Idrissa Abess Thullah alias Bomp Director was born to Sheikh Mohamed Alpha Thullah and Memunatu Aminata Dumbuya on the 10th of May 1986 in the Yumadu Community, Kono District, and was raised in Magburaka – Tonkolili District, where he started his primary school education and later was transferred to Freetown to continue his education. He attended the Palmronko Community Primary School in Calaba Town – the East-end of Freetown from 2001 through 2002 and sat to the National Primary School Examination. He proceeded with his junior and senior secondary school education at the Sierra Leone Muslim Congress Secondary School- Brima Lane -Kissy. He furthered to the College of Business Studies (2011-2013) and got a Diploma in Accounting and Finance. He has four siblings who comprise two boys and two girls. He is single.
Career
Idrissa Abess Thullah alias Bomp Director is a movie actor and director. He started his creative career with the Drammer Top Talented Theater in 2004 and his first play ”Aisha” was performed at the Kay Center which is now know as the Mas Complex in Calaba Town – East-End of Freetown. In 2012, Idrissa Abess Thullah ventured into filmmaking with Suliaman Conteh (alias Cee – Man, a DOP). They went ahead and established the Ceeman Film Production where he has served as the artistic director from 2012 to the present day.
