Early Life
Alice Hawa Sesay was born on the 27th of July 1987 in Mano Yourboh ( Bo District) to Umar Kamara and Fatie Moigua Kamara. She went to the Princess Diana Memorial School Conakry – Guinea where she attended both her primary and junior secondary school levels. She left repatriated to Sierra Leone, settled in Freetown, and attended the Annie Walsh Memorial School where she sat to her West African Senior School Certificate Examination. She proceeded to COMAHS to study nursing under the State Registered Nurse category, but the career was cut short because of the Ebola outbreak, and some family setbacks. She however went ahead and studied Project Management Online at the PGU/SL.
Career
Alice Hawa Sesay is one of the finest Sierra Leone rising actors and an entrepreneur. She started her acting career on the 6th of November 2019 with a movie director by the name Ibrahim Sorie Sesay who headed the ‘’She Matters Liberia’’, a movie project that has not been completed to this day. She served as a marketer at the Eastern Province of Sierra Leone for the ITV. With the enthusiasm to reach her dream, Alice went for an audition at the Sierra Palms Hotel which was organized by AYV Films. She was selected and cast. She proceeded with the Universal Image and Rain Drop Film Production and now Philips Creation Film Production. She has gotten three years of experience in the Sierra Leone Movie Industry. Growing up, Alice was inspired back in her school days while taking part in school dramas. She later developed her acting skills by watching movies and got really moved by the Nollywood star – Omotola Jalade Ekeinde with the want to be like her. Today, Alice dreams of being more than Omotola.
